Film review

¡Hi everyone!,

Today we’re going to talk about de film “Bread and Roses”, directed by Ken Loach.

The film talks about two Mexican women who went to United States looking for a better place where they can work, but sadly found a place where the work is bad, because of exploitation, that means, they work a lot and the cash that they earn was a few. But in not too bad, one day, they found a boy, Sam, who help them to realize that  the work was bad, her human rights were violated, so they plan to fight for it.

My favorite characters is Sam, because he represents the help that all the immigrant need when arrived in an unknown country.

One thing I didn´t like about the film was the end, because I think is not fair Maya can´t stay in the country after all the things she did to have a better place where to work. But a thing I like was how the film represent the real conflict and give in the point.

My favorite scene was the first scene, when Maya is running to a car for leaving Mexico and go to her sister´s, because represent the sacrifice and risk they take to escape from the poor conditions and looking for a good conditions.

I hope you enjoyed my film review, and I look forward your comment.
