My career

Hi everyone!

Today I’m going to talk why I choose Public Administration... well here we go!!

When I was kid, I just wanted to be a veterinary and work in a zoo, but when I knew what they do, I said “Mom, I don’t wanna see blood, I don’t like that, I just wanna take care of the animals, not operate or kick out ticks” so, in that moment I didn’t know what I wanna be in the future…

When I was 10 years old, I learned to play violin and just wanted to be a lawyer and study with a scholarship because I think I could be part of the orchestra, but with the time, I stopped playing violin and my dream disappeared.

When I was a teenager I just wanted to be something that let me travel around the world so I think in a Commercial Engineer, Flight Attendant. When I ask what they do, I didn’t like it so I think in PDI, I said “ I like all the thing with law, so I want to be the PDI…” but when I talk with my parents they said to me “ Mariam, with this career you couldn’t travel around the world” so, another career to the trash.

Finally, I decided for the Diplomatic Academy, and I searched all the career with you can apply and I found Politic Science and I liked it… So, I applied for Catholic University in a first option and Public Administration in the second and see me here… In love with my career, and thinking if I wanna go to work in another country or stay here working in some public service…

Hi everyone! Today we are going to talk about my experience with the blog, so here we go! I think it's been a great experience, because it helps me to discover new things and practice my English by the writing, and to know more about the preferences my teacher and classmates. I think is a good idea to incorporate the technology in the education, because today everyone use this media and when we were at school we had to write down all our work, and it was so boring and old fashion! I realize about my writing skills are improved since we start with this activity. I learn more vocabulary and grammar. I feel more confident. Music!

Hi everyone! Today we are going to talk about music… If there is something that I may be needing is the music So, I decided to write about 3 of my favorite genres… Jazz, Folk and old reggaton jajaj Jazz, I love to listen to jazz to read or study. Just put a playlist in Spotify and I forget everything that surrounds me. It is so relaxing, and I love it! Folk, when I am relaxed and happy I usually listen to Folk, put the folk radio in Spotify and let myself go. I started listening to folk with “ The Lumineers ”, my favorite song is “ho hey” (in the end of the blog is the link) And the best for the final, OLD REGGAETON, yes, reggaton, when I feel blue I listen to old reggaton and I forget the sadness ajjaja the same with the “cumbias”… I think the music is the best therapy to get relaxed, or if you feel blue you can feel better with the music. So, I invite you to enjoy the music, and get carried away and live the moment with a good song. ...
